Starting to think this football season could be a big letdown

QB situation still not settled and could be a catastrophe if not managed properly.
3 leaders lost on defense, I don't care how talented the players are that's three leaders you have to replace.
Tough schedule, Oregon, especially early, Oregon at neutral site, MSU and West Va at snakepits, and a tough trio of Fla, Tenn, Aub with Bama waiting after bye week.
Ole Miss and Ark are always tough border games.
I sure hope this is not another hoops/baseball meltdown on the horizon

Just get out now and leave it to the rest of us. I love the cry babies and how much worry displayed.

See.. I look at it the opposite way..
The schedule is tough as hell. That means this season could be phenomenal. It means that even if we slip up we can be champions. We'll finally see if LSU football is back where we belong.. and if you want to be the best you have to play the best.

So...
Who says the QB situation isn't settled? Seems to be the consensus that Jordan WILL start and he showed improvement in his fundamentals in the spring game. Seems settled to me.
:omg: we lost LEADERS?! What are we going to do!!!!! Players NEVER step up and establish themselves in the locker room after the seniors leave! We're DOOOOOMED!
We play a bitch schedule. So what? We do that every year.

As long as football can stay out of last place in the SEC like baseball and basketball, everything will be fine

anything can happen and it will....playing in the weekly meatgrinder known as the $EC with two very tough ooc games is daunting to say the least. anyone who is counting on a natcham is a damn fool....anyone who is hoping for a great season may or may not be rewarded. frankly, I love LSU football and the staff and players have my full support and utmost admiration for what they bring to the table every saturday so we can all feast.

the middle of the defense concerns me the most (mike LB and quality depth at Dtackle).
the offense will be improved with a veteran OL and JJ playing better with Mett pushing him.
We should beat Oregon. We are almost money when playing on turf.

Oregon's offensive tempo is a concern and even more so since it's the very first game of the year. Would feel better if it were the 3rd or so game on the schedule....

Doesn't matter how fast you are if there aren't any holes. Expect our heavy linemen to impose their will on their light, speedy guys.

LSU better be well prepared hand have their substitution packages ready....
This is what I thought would happen when LSU played $Cam last year....

If you saw improvement from jj in the spring game, then you are the only one. Kid is a below average sec qb and that would not change if Jesus was his coach.

It could be said "LSU Runs the Table in Securing its Third BCS Title."

Or...
Spend so much time on offense that the defense can keep up with their tempo for the whole game.

Thanks for the sig quote.
You're a douche. Saying he underperformed last year is an accurate assessment. Saying that he cannot improve is just being a prick.

Believing that he is close to an average NCAA qb is just being a dumbass.

Thank god that its only one more year of underachieving due to pathetic qb play.
