sammy's... always have the best imo... just reserved 3 sacks for saturday at 2.50 a pound.. that's about the average for the baton rouge area right now.

Expect to pay around $2.65-$2.90/lb for live crawfish this weekend

sammy's is only 2.50 which is a steal for easter weekend imo... tony's is at 2.35 but it's first come first serve and heads and tails is also at 2.50.

It's 2.50 today but come Good Friday when the fishermen start bringing in their catches it usually jumps up about .25-.35 cents.

true, it may jump a bit but i'm cool with it... that way i don't have to run around trying to find them if places start to sell out and you know you're getting solid sacks of big crawfish.

sounds like the fisherman are jacking the retailers around on prices. i called to confirm my reservation earlier and they said they had no idea what the price would be but expect it to be higher than average.

I reserved a sack for Saturday in NOLA....yesterday it was $2.25 this weekend it will probably be $2.50 at this particular place....everywhere else I called yesterday was already around $2.59
