Fans really tried to hang in there the whole game and were there when the team needed them. Too bad our coach wasn't. I'm not gonna bring up all the mistakes he made tonight, but I'm really tired to driving up from New Orleans for all these games to watch this crap. Gausman pitched a gem tonight. You could tell he was getting tired at the end as his fastball was getting up in the zone. Season is now over, but I guess I'll be back next series. Almost heard some boos for the first time in the box when we tried that dumb hit and run with no out. Fans are fed up.

Fixed it douche

Really really pathetic. This season has been a total disaster and hearing boos is really surprising.

Not sure where you sit in The Box, but I didn't hear anything resembling a boo all night, except early in the game directed at the 3B umpire.

I think what bothers me is that I'm not hearing ANYTHING. The crowd is quiet, not into the game. Apathy is worse than booing, because once that sets in, there are fewer and fewer asses in the seats each game.

I have attended every home game this season. Yes, the fans are frustrated, but I did not hear any boos tonight. If people were booing, I didn't hear them.

As I said, I ALMOST heard boos. I sit in sec 218, and heard a lot of people that were pissed off at Mainieri tonight. A LOT.

I agree. People are starting to complain about Mainieri, but I haven't heard much booing yet. It may only be a matter of time though.

Agree. Just so many close loses and a few base running errors here and there and a few coaching errors and not hitting in the clutch, hard to take. This team is very close to winning a lot of games. a run here and there would do it even with all of our problems.

From my seats, many of the fans were trying to get onto the field and fight Maineri and the cops were pointing guns at them. Not sure what some of you are seeing/talking about.

But you didn't ALMOST hear any booing? Oh well.

More the players than the coach IMO. They are handed everything on a silver plate and spoon-fed like babies and still cant deliver. And from running into them in person, I speak from experience. Everyone but Mahtook way overvalues themself

If you booed Les Miles at any point last year, you should, by that rationale, boo Paul Mainieri.

How exactly does one "almost" hear boos?

I think what he means by "almost booing" is grumbling. I've heard it for a couple of weeks now. Some of it coming from me.

How does one ALMOST hear a boo?
What does an ALMOST boo sound like?
Is it kind of like an ALMOST cheer?
What about an ALMOST groan?
What about an ALMOST coherent thought. Ever have one of them?
