Yeah, yeah. I admit. I play. And as big as the game is I'd assume at least a few people here play or have played before.

Fantasy games are so last year now.

Played WoW thru BC, moved to LOTRO, then EQ2. Till I finally had enough sword and board to last a lifetime.

Playing Star Trek Online atm and loving it, and waiting to see if I get into the Star Wars: The Old Republic beta.

Regardless of how good the game is, WoW is literally the Microsoft of mmorpgs at this point and Rift is Linux. McDonalds vs Wendy's. Walmart vs Target. If you're lucky, you can get a small portion of the market, but it is by far no where near being "old news".

But anyway, I was basically seeing if there were any actual competitive pve/pvpers here. Anyway, it seems there's a good deal more console gaming talk here.

UO any MMO that has ever been created. I can't believe people play games where they don't drop their gear when they die.

So make one yourself, and see if anyone is willing to pay money for it.

Don't blame me if you end up sleeping on your parent's couch though.

I played for a while and quit due to its repetitiveness. I had two 70+ characters: Mage and Hunter

That "new" expansion caught my attention for a whole month.

Currently playing Rift, which is fricking awesome, until SW:TOR.

I once had a pack mule loaded down with wooden boards. Almost had it in my house when these guys opened a portal and attacked the mule. It followed them into the portal. I was so angry I lost the boards and the mule, but have never been in awe of anything like I was that move.

Describes me with STO. SWTOR will havee to really blow me away to beat out Star Trek Online. The space combat is amazing in that game.

Not to hijack the thread, but curious - I played STO at launch and was greatly disappointed.Boring, repetitive missions, limited diplomatic solutions to missions (a mission once took me to a bar and I ended up killing everyone there - then, as a good Star Fleet captain, looted everything there), very disappointing planet surface missions. The best part was the ship combat system but it wasn't enough to keep me playing.

I have so much nostalgia for this game due to death actually matters. WoW kept my attention for a while because it was well polished, but only for so long. Dying sucked, I hated it, and thought I'd prefer something different. Now I realize UO had it right, real consequences make the accomplishments that much more rewarding which I think really extends re-playability.
