Yeah I am lucky enough to live in nola, so I think I will steer clear of places that try "nola/cajun/creole/i put tony's on something so it is authentic Louisiana food" places. I was told to check out the Oak Cliff's Bishop Arts District? Good advice?

Again thanks for all the suggestions.

Yes. Very cool little area with a little bit older crowd....30 and up and family oriented. But there are plenty of youngsters out there. Eno's is a pizza joint with pretty decent pizza and a great beer selection. They have a pub upstairs too. I'll be there tomorrow afternoon. There is some other good eats like Veracruz (interior mexican)and a few other places I can't remember. Down the street is Bolsa which is very good but very crowded.
