Pappadeaux is a little more expensive with large portions.

Disappointed when I went there....

Are there any good seafood/cajun restaurants in the Dallas area?

The only reason to eat at cajun places in Dallas is if you live here and have forgotten what good cajun tastes like. Half Shells in Snider Plaza (by SMU) is about the best I've found. Another good place, not cajun though, is Hook Line and Sinker on Mckinney.

Dodies on Greenville in Dallas. I haven't been since they moved down the street but always enjoyed their original place. They boil their crawfish the righ way. Nates on Midway but they season the outside of the crawfish.
