along with what bee rye said, I've been trying to kick my habit of grabbing a granola bar for breakfast and running out the door. Instead, I'll eat two packets of oatmeal. I get the "weight control" one - they seem to be more filling than the regular ones AND I definitely avoid putting most of the sugar stuff that settles at the bottom of the pack. You can mix in honey, cinnamon, and/or nuts and it helps to kick it up. I"m weird and I really like oatmeal, so I don't know if this will work for you if you don't like it. I find that it helps me resist getting a pastry or something really bad from a coffee shop mid-morning.

BTW, I'm a huge coffee person so a big change I've made is getting skim milk in my lattes and asking for sugar free syrup if I want a flavor
