What are the most inexcusable, needless losses in LSU FB history?

I propose that the following game is the most needless loss in LSU history:

LINK

Among other things, the loss resulted from two missed FG's that hit the goalposts, a missed extra point, an INT on the goal line, a recovered onside kick, and not one but two tipped passes that were miraculously caught for TD's.

We were actually a cursed squad in 1998. No LSU team has squandered more talent than the 1998 incarnation of the Tigers.

Other candidates?

2006 AU was by far one of the most frustrating games I've ever witnessed. It was so obvious how much of a better team we were than AU, but the offensive gameplan was just terrible. I get pissed even thinking about it.

Yeah, officiating may have had something to do with that debacle, but you're right the offensive play calling was mysterious.

I disagree. The team had nothing in the tank after the 1st half.

Pretty much the only people that bring this up are ones that only started following LSU in the 2000's and that are huge football snobs.

Losing to Miami of Ohio a week after upsetting a top 10 ranked A&M teams is much worse than UAB.

UAB wouldn't make my top 10 of bad LSU loses.

It was almost as if the 2006 Auburn game was blown on purpose. I'm not saying that's what I think, but it was that ridiculous with the playcalling. And to cap off the shitty feeling was the success we had throwing in the final plays.
