You might want to mention that he also played QB for LSU and coached Bert Jones at LSU. He was LSU through & through, and a good man besides.

Yeah, I try to hold back, but I am proud. he backed up Y.A. Tittle and led LSU to an unlikely Sugar Bowl appearance. He and Mac always loved LSU. He was a Jackson native too. Ole Miss told my grandfather he'd better try out for basketball because he was too skinny to play football. He spent the rest of his life at LSU and in BR.
