The last name was Pevey. He was the coach that everyone hated for running the draw on third and long (not that those were really his choices anywya).

A friend of mine had a 1958 signed football, but lost it. Always admired it as a kid.

You might want to mention that he also played QB for LSU and coached Bert Jones at LSU. He was LSU through & through, and a good man besides.
