The Under Armour game has been bringing in the more overall talent the past couple of years anyway in my opinion. Plus, it's still very early of course.

Not this year. That Army list is loaded.

We might get one of those players.

There's a number of guys we could get:
S Deon Bush (One of the FL guys that Avery is trying to bring along with him)
DB Tracy Howard (Another Avery target, but more likely to stay in state)
OT D.J. Humphries (LOVES LSU and wants to play in the SEC)
ATH Brian Kimbrow (Kimbrow and Trey Williams are the only OOS RBs that we are targeting)
WR Davonte Neal (Has shown interest in LSU and is good friends with Elijah White, who is also interested in LSU)
WR Dominique Wheeler (Most in TX are surprised Texas passed on him. Wide open at this point, but likes LSU)
RB Trey Williams (The Will Lyles connection will probably cross him off the LSU list, but is an amazing talent that has shown interest in LSU)

UF first
Tennessee second
Per the most recent Rivals update.
quote:
"Man I had a blast," Humphries said. "I had a great time. After practice they showed me the new renovations. What they are getting to put in is ridiculous. I got to hang out with Alex Bullard and that went really well. I've been up there five times now and it's like every time I go up there I see something different. I got to check out their business center and it's impressive."
"Tennessee is in second," Humphries said. "Them and Florida are running a tight race right now.

Geaux - both A&M and Texas have backed of Wheeler for whatever reason, I know a lot of Ags wish we would go after him, but things have cooled mightily on this side of the Sabine.
His mom was a bit of an issue at an A&M JR day from reports. Maybe a little Cam "more me" Newton syndrome, and she didn't feel like the red carpet wasn't llong or red enough for her baby.
Who knows, the kid can burn.

Well then it's just his mom because he is not like that at all. Dominique is very humble and never really expected to be getting the attention he has.
I know a number of Longhorn fans that were left scratching their heads that he didn't get an offer. The kid is a long strider and is very fast, making for a deadly combination. If you watch some of his track videos as well, his relay team will be in 3rd or 4th when he gets the baton and all of a sudden he's a good couple of seconds ahead.
I really hope he earns an offer at LSU's camp because he's a tremendous athlete

Probably goes back to LSU first when he visits again with his father this time around.

What were his quotes after his first visit? and did he visit during Junior day?

This was on January 17th:
quote:
I asked him which schools will definitely be on board and without hesitation he said LSU and Florida.
"LSU, I love it down there. I went there to watch them play West Virginia. I love how intense the fans are. I watch fans get face-to-face and a Tiger will be right in his face. That made me feel like if I come here and play, I know these fans will have our back. And I love Coach (Les) Miles. I love how he lets left tackles move."

What game will Granier end up playing in

OT D.J. Humphries
I think LSU's biggest competition for him at this point is Florida and Tennessee. It will be a war for his signature.

WR Dominique Wheeler
This guy can absolutely fly. A very exciting prospect to keep an eye on.

ATH Brian Kimbrow
Any idea how scat backs fit into Kragthorpe's offense? Is that his preference?
