Somebody has got to have info on Randall

I follow this board and usually come away impressed with the insight, but since this kid committed, most of the threads here talk about whether or not he committed.
Little has been posted about how he became a tiger. Anyone know more?

From what I heard is that he agreed to come in as an athlete, but will be given a fair shot at the QB spot.

A top 150 athlete/QB that was going to Oregon, but had some work to do. When he made what he needed, seems like Oregon filled up. He then opened the process back up. I'm sure there are other issues, cause there almost always is, but thats the reported story. Either way, he is P&G now!

Briefly
did not have his ACT in order when signing day came around.
had verbally committed to Oregon.
Long after signing day, he got the ACT score he needed. He was then told it was too late to get in with Oregon.
He went shopping for a school. Miami and LSU were among the choices. He and Les Miles spent every day on the phone and he selected LSU, which conveniently had a scholarship open, due to the porno video RB Hill made.

I dont think its true. I think oregon kind of used that as an excuse for some other reason.

I thought Hill's schollie wasn't available...gone to someone else, that's why there's no rush to resolve H's situation...so he can gray-shirt, put some distance between his recent exploits & count against NEXT year's numbers, (we don't even need him now, esp. with only the 23 available).
