Lulz.

The key with having backs that overlap is their ability to cross at the end of it. Thus the argument to have a natural left footer on the left.

Especially for the way the US plays with Donovan on the left and Dempsey on the right, both cutting in towards the middle.

Having an outside back that also has to cut in to cross does nothing for you.

Bornstein can be marginally effective when he's playing well. He was downright embarrassing last night, though. I honestly felt bad for him when he tripped on the ball in the second half.

Let's hope Zack Loyd progresses.

It's funny, but it's true.

Bornstein's play last night should be enough for Bob to never speak with him again.

At least until he's playing regularly and well for UNAM, which will probably never happen.

He's the most promising guy we have in MLS right now.

He set up a beautiful goal in week 1, but left last year's golden boot winner completely unmarked inside the six for a goal this week.
