Jarvis was one of our earliest tigers to commit, and was bleeding purple and gold..after some recruiting from other schools he "opened" things back up..seems as if Avery has done the same, does anybody think he will stick or will this be Miamis revenge on LSU for Pat?

Jarvis Landry was NEVER going anywhere but LSU.

Jarvis had plenty of views from other schools and was very open with the fact that things could change...not saying Jarvis was not always LSU, he just looked around to make sure..

ETA--you take away Frank Wilson and a late addition in Mettenberger, Jarvis is playing at UT

LSU turned his brother into a god.His family has done nothing but worship LSU for the past 3 years. I think he winds up here.

I agree that he ends up here when it is all said and done. But to say Lsu turned pp7 into a god is a bit of a stretch. What turned pp7 into a god was his superior athletic ability and tireless work ethic determination. not saying that the national exposure Lsu attracts didn't help but it's not what really did it.

Avery has family in baton rouge. His brother will be a top 5 pick largely due to LSU. Do you think he is really going anywhere when he can solidify their family legacy at LSU?

You obviously didn't hang around campus too much then. PP was treated like a god off the field.

It seems we have to go through these threads with every commit every year. "Does he stick or will he do like..."

It's too early for this

His brother would've been a top pick regardless of where he went. He's a physical freak.

I wonder if he realizes how stupid this sounds. I guess half of him will be attending LSU, the other half Miami.
