Yeah it is the same place. They did re-open after Katrina but couldn't make it with the Soleil apartments being closed for so long. Th current chef worked as a bartender for a little while out of necessity, but worked in the kitchen the majority of the time he was there. He's a chef by trade. Self taught, but very talented. The head chef left to open The Store in the CBD. Both are good friends of mine. I recommend Fire in Grayton. Head and shoulders better than when it was here.
