He's uninformed. A&M isn't owning Louisiana or Texas anytime soon ... but, we're improving in 2012 recruiting in both Texas and Louisiana.
Trending upwards? Yes. But need a couple more years of on-field performance before we really pick up any steam. Certainly nothing to gloat over as of right now.

Phillips will go to LSU. And what's the difference between TAMU getting these players in Feb and getting them next January when Texas/OU/LSU fill up and pass? They are doing well, but owning LA? Ha..

Ask him where A&M is ranked this year in recruiting. And how A&M came out with only three 4 star recruits total and they are in the state of texas that according to Rivals had 41 guys in the state that were 4 or 5 star recruits. 55 according to Scout.
Lets put it this way. Texas Tech even out recruited them.
