Has LSU ever offered any players who went straight to the NBA out of HS?

I wonder if they recruited Rashard Lewis? I'm sure they did considering he's from Pineville

Pretty sure we offered Jonathan Bender as well. Mississippi has put out some incredible NBA talent in the last 10 years. Many of them went straight to the NBA. MSU has had several committed to them only to have them jump to NBA.

Link? I don't think that's true. Kedrick Brown yes, but not Perk.

Bender was so sick, it's a shame injuries ended his career. He was a few years older than me, but his HS was in our district. We also played against Monta Ellis in the state semis his junior year and he was flat out nasty.
