Best idea I've ever heard of for this dilema was to run through grinder and into a casing to make a jambalaya boudin. I haven't tried this but I believe read it here at some point.

Yeah, I'm liking the boudin ball idea. I'll be able to separate the rice easy enough to forego the use of a grinder. Thanks!
