Combined Recruited Personnel Score... Updated

Well, after another year of making bad jokes on the recruiting board, it's time to make my annual contribution...
The short description is that we take the last 5 recruiting classes and determine what caliber of players will be on the field. We penalize a player 2 stars in their freshman years and 1 star in their sophomore (or red-shirt freshman) years. We also assume a 30% attrition rate in the fifth year. If you want more details, check out the original post from 2009. As the image is a bit larger than the mods approve of, here's a link to the new scores...
Scores for 2011
Please note that the scores for 2012 and 2013 are subject to change from upcoming recruiting classes (though effects to 2012 will be minimal).
BTW... Check out Houston - they are moving up the rankings fast!

Sweet! As no one seems interested in this I won't waste my time doing this in the future.

From 2010 - 2011 LSU's average star ranking per player goes up and yet they get bumped one spot by another team from our division. The next few years are going to be fun.

Hey, I appreciate your hardwork. Keep on doing the follow up as I look forward to next year.

Couldnt see it on the phone earlier. But damn Bama and Texas moving ahead of us is not good. But we still moved ahead of UF in 13 with this class so that is a plus.
We play UF and Bama every year. And beat both of them this year with out a QB. If we can stay in that top 5 we will be ok.
Good Work
One more thing... Look at 2013 and look at the top 10 teams. Anything look familiar? We consistently are going after the same players as those schools. We also have all those schools trying to steal the best that Louisiana has to offer.
Our coaching staff has done a really fine Job. It is not as easy as some would think to constantly bring in top tier recruits.

DocBugbear, you may want to consider making use of Google Docs. Upload the spreadsheet there, "share" with everyone, then post the link.
