Derenbecker never saw the court again after he made that bad pass in the first half.

But, with a minute left you take our leading scorer out the game

?

Stringer was our leading scorer for that game...

Wasn't he the one who had the ball last, unless I missed something...(possible)

I wish Green could get similar treatment with his shot selection.

Certainly, havent watched many games being up here in Montana, but just curious, and not trying to hi-jack your thread , but does anybody know what Butch Pierre is doing now or where he is coaching. We were ole classmates at East Ascension before St. Amant opened. Truly, thought he did a pretty decent job after Brady. Just asking if anybody knows?

Im talking about for the season. Turner may not be the leader any more but for a long time he was our leading scorer. You dont take Turner out and put Bass in when you need a score. It doesnt make an ounce of sense

I guess you think you're the only person on this board knows anything about basketball. just because you post all day long does it make you an expert. Stringer is the only person that needs to take that last shot And it just didn't work out. we had 3 full possessions the previous trip down the floor and could not get a shot off. bass was actually penetrating in getting into the lane which is something nobody on this team can seem to do.

You're an 18 year old kid, who's never seen the real Deaf Dome except maybe on tape.

How sad for you, to blindly support sh*t.

No basketball team at LSU in the last 35 years has been this terrible.

Well Turner was having a horrid game. He had seven points, but 3-14 from the floor (1-7 3pt) range.

Either that means that Turner is still warming-up from his injuries or he was having an off-night. Bass on the other hand didn't play bad, but he also didn't play significant minutes.

I would have probably put Turner should out there instead of Bass, but I don't think it would have changed the outcome of the game at ALL.

Agreed, there is absolutely no hope for this program under Johnson.

Look at the amount of apathy surrounding this program, who wants to go to the PMAC to watch this garbage? Johnson doesn't have the personality to drum up any support, and let's say next year he does do well, how long will it before people actually catch on and want to go? Going from history he is going to play a horrendous non-conference home slate, and by the time you get any momentum going in the SEC it's too late to draw many people out for a number of games.
We need a good basketball coach that doubles as a salesman to bring some life back into this program.

Turner couldn't hit the broadside of a barn today. trent took him out because he was careless with the ball and turned it over a minute earlier
