I wanna go hit some ponds or something tomorrow morning, but i'm worn out on Beau Chene. Anyone have/know any ponds or lakes to hit up? TIA

Umm...You knows there's like a billion places to fish in a 10 mile diameter?

Not really though. A few neighborhoods have crappy ponds and I don't have a boat on the North Shore.....
But, if you know so many, tell me please!

You've got the areas around the mouth of the Tchfuncte River in Madisonville; Fountainbleu Park; Sunset Point in Mandeville; all around Lake Ponchartrain; Big Branch outside Mandeville. Just a few areas that come to mind.

Tchefuncte sucks. We call it the dead sea. Never been to FSP. thought about it for tomorrow though. Sunset is saltwater, and i'm not familiar with big branch. I was more on track of golf courses, neighborhood lakes, etc. Bu thanks for the ideas

Fairview park in Madisonville has a lot of spots that look promising. But most of them are on the river.

i'm going to google image it. ive fished there from in the tchefuncte. Usually not much... but, it'll beat sitting at home.

Before the Goodyears sold the land for developement there was unreal bass fishing at Money Hill. My uncle had a cabin leased there for turkey hunting on a small pond. It was fantastic fishing.

I like USMC's recommendation. Madisonville at the mouth.

One of my Brother-in-laws always talks about going catfish juggin in Lake Ramsey...
Maybe try there?

Lake Ramsay used to be great when my Uncle Willie owned the place. Haven't been there since he died and the place became a subdivision. Biggest bass I've ever seen was caught from this lake. Oh, and what USMC said.
Some of the folks in my area put a canoe in at Bennett Bridge and drift downstream to the Tantella Ranch (Jones Road). They seem to have some luck. Mostly spotted bass.
