It bothers me that we've lost out on the last 2 big recruits to come out of Thibodaux and was just wondering how the recruiting experts thought this may play into Granier's recruitment. From what I've read from some posters he's "all LSU", but what do the recruiting gurus think?

T Reed made his choice because he needed to get away. He stated numerous times LSU did not excite him that much.

Robinson made a bad choice. I think we all can agree on that. He needs to seriously mature before he will amount to anything. IMO, not that great of a player, minimal loss for LSU.

Granier now has a stable home life thanks to a great family that has gone above and beyond thier duty. I feel he is making this decision with his heart, nothing else. From all I gather, he is LSU all the way.

Granier and his family are very good friends of my family. I grew up with his first cousin. He is without a doubt LSU. Football Official pretty much hit it on the nose with his explanination. Granier has a good head on his shoulders and has already made a smart decision.

I have heard this over and over about Robinson. I don't know the guy, but this is coming from people that know him and seen him play numerous times. He is very soft and the key word what you said is he needs to mature big time. Some have even thrown the word, thug around. Now this I have no idea about. Maybe more in the know would know this.

Granier is a lock to LSU. No worries here at all. He and his family are as big as LSU fans as they come. As in Andolsek and Rodrigue big.

I don't think Robinson is a thug, but immaturity comes in when you throw away the home town team you grew up loving for an SEC West Rival as quickly as he did.

i don't think it's immature for him to choose a different team. it is immature of him to not let his grandparents or his mom to know what he's doing and where. i won't get into the I phone or his public statements.

Didn't the new coach come in and lay down the law on that Nelson(pimp). I think we'll be OK!
