is like a swipe your ID and walk in type deal like basketball or do you have to wait on a line and get an actual ticket?

pretty sure that you can't...think the ticket office opens up a couple hours before the game starts....

yea....i'd always just go late and get SRO tickets....then find somewhere to sit out in the bleachers or chairbacks on 3rd baseline....get in as much tailgating time as possible....

There's a HUGE line for the first game. For every other game you can get there at first pitch and there's no line.

Well to be fair:

Opening game for 2009 was the first in the New Box and a #1 ranked preseason team

Opening game for 2010 was the first game for the National Champions.

Line won't be crazy, although Basketball atrophy might have set in fully come 2 weeks.

Doesn't matter most of our "peers" will be gone by the 5th inning. You can sit where ever by then. Go tailgate and enjoy it
