Being from Central Louisiana I've had a chance to watch Eddie Fuller, Cecil Collins and Michael Ford, all from Leesville. The Richard boy is no where the same league. He is a good high school running back but not a LSU running back. IMO!

There is a lot of guys like Dural, so it wouldn't be a huge loss to lose out on him

I agree that there are a lot of kids like Dural and quite a few better but if our coaches are targeting a kid from LA and lose him that is a big deal. Not necessarily because of talent but because of perception. You guys are veterans of the recruiting board and know how things go in recruiting and like myself wouldn't jump off a bridge if he went to Bama but i guarantee this board will be flooded by people that will and we'll hear more about us losing a kid to Bama then we will about the players we get. It's just the media way.I'm not ready to concede him to Bama just yet but i do agree with you guys take on it.The thing I want to know is this, when John Diarse comes up and favors Bama will you be saying the same thing? He fits the mold of a lot of kids as well but is also likely the #1 player in LA for 2013?Will the ease of letting him go to Bama be the same?

I have seen this said about 2013 prospect John Diarse from Neville, LA from others on this site and other sites. BUT, where is this coming from? I have some friends in the Monroe area and former Neville people and they do not say this. It is true that Saban visited the school and "bumped" into him. I would just like to know why some people say he is a Bama lean. It's way to early.

I really really hope you are right.

PotRoast,I'm not saying he's a lean to Bama as has been passed around and it's way too early with him to really know for sure. There are though some very good recruiting guys that do feel that Bama will be hard to beat for him.As i said it's way too early to know that for sure.I was more using him as an example of a guy that has a lot of kids with similar skills(Though he is better than a lot of them)and whether those guys would consider losing him to Bama not a big deal as with Dural. That was my only point in using him. He'll very likely be the #1 guy in LA in 2013 so the perception would be dramatically different but the example is still relevant. There are a ton of kids yearly with similar skills.A LA kid that our staff wants is important no matter how many other kids around the country have similar skills. That was more the point.
