Not to be a smart arse. But my father and I saw a cat similar to this one hunting at night behind Nairn when I was 10. This was in 98 so I am sure this is not the same cat but it just shows you how late the news can be with info. We told everyone that would listen about the big arse 'black jaguar' that we saw. Damn I wish he was alive so I could tell him how right we were.

My own dad swears he saw a black panther in Soda Lake back in the sixties. I've seen them before in dim light and they do look black.
