This dude is legit. Things happen for a reason, Crowton stayed another year because in the end we needed to get Kragthorpe. Les Miles knows what the hell he is doing and very soon we will see the results we have been looking for ala the defense. For some reason it takes a lot longer than a lot of us unknowing rantards would like to make changes, but he does get them done. Who knows what goes on behind the scenes with regards to the decision process for these changes, but I guess it was not the easy, hence our continued issues until now.
For the first time in a few years I am RIDICULOUSLY excited about LSU football. I feel like my youthful enthusiasm for it has returned and the stress I used to feel for it have dissipated because it finally looks like our ship is sailing in the right direction and will be clicking on all cylinders this year.

I'll never say that Crowton doesn't know football or that he isn't a good coach. You don't get to where he is by being incompetent.
That being said, SH just seems like a much better fit with this staff, and LSU in general. I never really thought of Crowton as an LSU kind of coach.
When SK was hired, I was cautiously optimistic. This press conference added to the optimism and took away a little of the caution, but I still want to wait and see results on the field.
