It looks as if McNeese is the state's best shot at getting a team in the Big Dance. When was the last time that there were no Louisiana schools in it?

You think O'Bryant is that good?

They can't even play man-to-man defense this year.

Who the hell said anything about O'bryant....

Maybe it could be the fact that a few freshman and sophmore gain a little more experience and confindence. Maybe it could be the fact that you have two more big man, and i mean big man to hold that block allowing your wings to concentrate on the wings. Yes and O'bryant's scoring ability and the hope that injuries dont kill as much as they have so far.

LSU has lost four consecutive games by 20+ points. They aren't even close to being consistently competitive this year. They lost to Nicholls. They lost to fricking Coastal Carolina, who was awful. And we didn't have any injuries at that time.

The SEC isn't even good. At all. So you think that they will not only somehow make the NCAA Tournament next year, but also win a game? They aren't even remotely close to making the NIT this year.

Their big guys are awful. Derenbecker and Ludwig make it nearly impossible for them to ever play man defense, and they suck at the 2-3 zone.

Trent Johnson isn't that good of an in-game coach either, granted he doesn't have much to work with.

Saying LSU will make the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament next year is a hell of a claim. They might not even be a top 4 team in Louisiana right now.

Yeah. He's gonna be a beast. Can shoot the 3 and has no fear around the rim, he's like a poor man's Sun Belt Kevin Love .

ok that isnt performances to build off of, yet im not talking about this year.

the sec is not the best conference in basketball (right now) but has 2 of the top 5 coaches in the game right now, that says something.

derenbecker and ludwig are role players forced to play big minutes. green could play 3 or 4 but is a pretty good little player. storm hurt, and white a little bit disappointing. next question.
