Who Is The Next Big-Time RB @ LSU?

Mark my word, Mr. Ware is a special player, and he is just now discovering how good he can become. The Cotton Bowl was his coming-out party. The Tigers won't miss a beat. Instead, they have a slightly different version of Marcus Lattimore

Sat next to his parents at UNC game in Atlanta. The kid's gonna be special, can't wait.

And I think our new OC will only make the wonderful Mr. Ware more aWare to our fans and the rest of the nation! Sorry for the pun, couldn't help myself.

Quarterback competition will take all of the story time, but I am psyched to see the running back battle for next year; Ware, Ford, Blue, possibly Shep in some time, it's gonna be a lot of fun to watch

Yeah plus Hilliard probably won't redshirt now since we aren't getting Hill. He could get in the mix

There isn't going to be a Quarterback competition. Met will be your QB. Watch Ford, he is the real deal.

I honestly expect to see Ware and Ford split the carries pretty evenly. Which won't be a bad idea. Keep both guys as fresh as possible. Something along the lines of how Bama used Ingram and Richardson. I know Miles has said something along the lines of liking Blue where he is but I don't see him fitting in at RB. Maybe as a decent backup but with Ford and Ware and the others we have, I don't see where he would crack the lineup.

one break out game for ware and everyone forgets about ford.
I think they will both have a big role in the offense next year though. As long as we win nobody will care unless your last name is jefferson.

If what Ware showed is indeed what's to come, There is no doubt he will be very special. However I agree people are overlooking Ford. Ford has shown flashes in limited action as well. I'm pretty excited at the thought of having both guys in the backfield. I think if we use them correctly they will be the perfect one two punch. No better way to wear out SEC defenses than punching them out with TWO very good running backs. I just hope we get the passing game flowing like what we had in the Cotton Bowl.
Leaning against a defense with solid running with two very talented running backs behind an experienced offensive line, Then hitting them up top when they creep in will work wonders for our offensive woes. And can we please find a way to get the ball in Shep's hands in space?!?!

In no way was I trying to discount or discredit M Ford. I really like him and we will need 3 or 4 good backs to compete in the SEC. But Ware is faster and more powerful than MF, not by much, but no doubt about it. I am not basing this on one game. If that was the case, I would look back to last years US Army All-Star game in San Antonio. Ware was the MVP hands down in that game. I just feel that he is discovering his real potential...

This backfield will be the best we've had since Faulk/Collins. Barring injury they potentially could be better, which is a scary prospect.

FIFY.
I'm sure Ware has known for a while now.

I think he knows how good he is and can be....Kid is super athletic...to be the #10 RB coming out of HS when he played QB in high school speaks alone of his athleticism.
I live here in dallas and have alot of aggie friends the majority of them were like who the f is that guy....when I said he was a freshmen they all thought I was lying and got on their iphones to look it up
