Will he finally be a weapon in our offense? Hopefully he won't have any nagging injuries and improves on his catching.

Could be an absolute beast if used properly and he toughened up a bit.

We need Don Yanowsky to come back and toughen him up.

You'd think a baller from the 9th ward would be hard as F.

Using a receiving tight end effectively requires a quarterback with short range accuracy and the ability to recognize mismatches to create midrange passing opportunities...whether our starting QB is one who has those skills

I was a huge fan this season. I was talking about him before this season started. With a pro-styled offense its inevitable. He is such a huge threat.

With all the passes he dropped that hit him square in the hands it is hard to say what he can do.

Chase Clement will be better than him.

DeAngelo Peterson is the single biggest mismatch on our team. LBs can't run with him safeties are too small. If he is used properly he is the most important part of our offense because of the personnel problems he forces other teams into

Clement is the one that needs to get the ball as well this up coming year. At 6'6 250 he has all the intangibles. No he does not have the foot speed of Peterson, but he does have good enough speed for the TE position.

If zack mett is the QB I think he will be used alot more. Most QBs that tend not to run use their Tight end more.

All you need to do is watch the end of that reverse he ran against Bama. HE WALKED OUT OF BOUNDS AT THE ONE!!!
Any other MFer on the planet would have lowered his head and got in.

He is soft....

That being said, he is one hell of a stud athelete. He will be a large part of our new offense but he must GET TOUGHER or accept a diminished role.

He's afraid to get hit. He lets up on passes where he's going to take a lick, doesn't usually lower his shoulder to plow through to make it into the EZ or get the 1st. If Les and co. can fix his mental toughness issue, he'll be a major threat.
