We thought we were getting over on you by taking Malcolm White from you and bringing him home. Turns out you knew what you were doing by letting him go. You win. This should now even out Eli tripping on 4th down in 2003.

I thought White played his best game tonight... but yes, he's been a disappointment.

gotta agree with this...played pretty decent tonight, but he hasn't been the banger inside that i was expecting coming into this year...

Warren, Turner, and White are not healthy. This team will get better in mid Feb and be ready for next season.

Trent is about to turn us into a Vandy-type program...nothing special and few NBA guys; more intelligent players. It will equate to years of 8 seeds in the NCAAt and 1 SEC c'ship every decade...about right.

He's very very average at best. He hasnt changed a bit since his days at Ole Miss. He had a few good games but a ton of less than mediocre performances.

Maybe people on this board over-hyped him...I dunno. What I DO know is that we have ZERO inside presence. The "offense" we run has to have at least a few paint touches occasionally so that the perimeter guys can breathe. We can't even get the ball in there...and when we do, nothing happens that is positive.

The lack of a post presence is somewhat surprising, but not completely unexpected when you factor in Storm Warren's injury situation and our depth at forward/center. That leaves just White and Green as the only two true post men cycled in, I haven't SEEN much of Courtney in the rotation, and Ludwig doesn't appear to be a presence down low, maybe a threat, but not yet to be reckoned with.

we would be better off with ludwig playing over white. ludwig doesn't turn it over and jack up stupid shots at the rate that white does.

white and ludwigs d is almost the same

He's also a forward, not a center. The two big guys coming in next year will allow White and Green to stay at the 4 where they belong.

White is definitely a disappointment. Coach Johnson has said he is disappointed in him, so obviously he expected more.

Whether he was overhyped and is playing to his level or he was hyped correctly and has failed, I don't know.

Michelle Beadle obviously disagrees.
