Can't believe someone posted he is slow.
If not for his speed, he would be lucky to be drafted before the fourth round.

That has a movie board where they talk about MOVIES, a Hornets board where they talk about the HORNETS, a political board where they talk about POLITICS, a MSB board, a food and drink board, and on and on. Because this is tigerdroppings doesn't me we are obligated to be fans of LSU sports or the damn college for that matter, so eat a dick Sherlock. Do you have to be a LSU fan to discuss corndogs on the food and drink board?
Reading comprehension...you should try it some time

Sure Peterson is good and won't last past #7 but he's no discussion for the Saints needs or pick #24.
Sound post. We'd have to trade away the whole draft to get PP7 when we already have Greer, Porter, & Robinson. That is simply ludicrous.
As for other countless dicks on this board who profess to know draft prospects by calling PP7 overrated and slow: Shut the frick up.

Awwww. Cry about it why don't you. Wah, another dissed LSU fan thread on the saints board. Get over it already.

Dude, we used to be cool. I think we even fought some of the same Reggie Bush wars together. But that's cool.

i understand why it might annoying for constant LSU players talk for non-LSU fans, but theres no need for the ridiculousness that has been this thread
"no, i dont want peterson because he's from LSU", thats basically the sentiment of this thread...explain that to me

Are you dumb. Im not saying we have to get him. But this has to be one of the stupidest comments i have ever seen. We are far from stacked. I can remeber countless times where porter/robinson/greer all got burned this year. You're other statement had me picking my jaw up from the ground. Overrated? That a joke? He is only projected to be a top 3 pick and you're saying he is overrated? Not to mention his return skills are unbelivable. It's idiots like you that get wound up and I know for sure you are only basing you're arguement on one game ( Alabama) where jones pretty much owned him i have to say. But he has been up against jones 2 other times and shut him down, green he shut him down, and many others.
DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT WE WOULD HAVE TO GIVE UP TO TRADE UP 22 SPOTS TO NUMBER 2? We have 2 very good starting corner backs, a 2nd team all pro FS, a promising 2nd year player all under contract. How much money do you think we can invest in a defensive secondary? We have SIGNIFICANTLY bigger needs than a freak athlete who hasn't played a down in the NFL. Your memory is pretty short because he has looked pretty damn pedestrian SINCE the bama game. He didn't exactly tear it up against Ark and he was completely outplayed by the freshman cb's in the cotton bowl. He'll be a very good pro I'm sure if he drops about 10 lbs ( I doubt he can play with elite WRsat 220+) Now if you excuse me, I have to go stretch...my hamstring is cramping.

This thread makes me worry about humanity in general.
I hope to God some of you aren't doctors.

Well put, the jury is out on pp as far as a db in the NFL.

I wouldn't trade as far up as you would need for him, but would love him on the Saints. His return game would get rid of alot of headaches for me.

We still are Freek. Dont take me personal. I respect the hell out of you. One of the few. I'm just contributing my worthless 2 cents.

Don't take me personal either, Boss. I'm on the edge trying to quit smoking.

No, its not dumb. He's in the top 5 on most boards yet he's slow and can barely play back to back series without plugging in an IV while the offense is on the field. Julio Jones would love to be lined up against him at the next level every Sunday.
......He got the better of Julio every time they lined up against each other. You just lost all credibility. And slow? Are you shitting me? He may not be Olympic speed, but he will still be very fast in the NFL.

People are so dumb. PP is very fast, although he has a serious problem with dehydration.
