9mm is plenty of power if you hit your target. No caliber change will correct it if you don't.

I bought the PPS with the 7round mag in 9mm. I was very happy with my other weapons, except for the weight and thickness of them. The PPS fixes those problems, and feels and performs great.

I love it, and its my primary carry now.

That's what I thought, I didn't think the caliber made too much of a difference between 9 and 40. But I was considering changing most of my guns to .40 because when I get done with my academy I am going to probably get a new glock .40 from work to carry on duty.
