Read this in todays ADVOCATE. I had to read it twice to make sure I wasn't seeing things. If he is our best athlete, we are in far worse shape than I thought we were. 2012, please hurry up and get here.

Yeah, after yesterday that's not saying much.

I'm trying to stay positive about the program, but this is tough. I still believe Trent is a good coach and that we're just in period of having very little talent to put on the floor. Starting to think he may need to revamp his asst. coaching staff and find some with more recruiting success.

I read that too...yikes...sometimes he says some things that I just don't get.

What's sad is that without Turner out there he's like our No. 2 scoring option out there. And he shoots everytime he gets the ball so he thinks he's the No. 1.

And I shouldn't be dogging Green because he's the one player on the team who actually appears to have improved, but how long has be been playing here? And he still things turning sideways and bracing is the best defensive positioning? This ain't frickin' bullfighting. Is he told about this in film sessions?

That's an insult coming from TJ.

I can't bring myself to even criticize Green when he is thoroughly outplaying White and Warren. frick. Put the tuba player in and see what he can do. At least then we'd have a reason to be amused with the play of our forwards. Get Courtney on the court some more if these guys don't want to contribute.

I never yell out during sporting events, but yesterday I screamed pretty loudly for Garrett Green to stop shooting.

they are awful as a collective bunch. its really frustrating to be pumped all week about the game only to get drubbed.

It's hard to imagine we had a week to prepare for an average team at best and we lost by 27. At home.

Ole Miss shot better than SIXTY PERCENT. I bet we don't shoot 60% in free throw practice sessions

How long is Turner going to be out? Will he be available to play against Alabama on Saturday?

Is he a big difference maker for LSU?

If you watch Garrett in warmups, it's not a stretch to say he's the best athlete on the team. He can run and can really jump for a guy 6'10". He's not tremendously skilled as a basketball player, but as far as pure athleticism goes, he's well above average.

He is IMHO without question our best player and he has good upside.

But how much of a difference maker is he? When you can't play team defense..either in zone or man and you can't get into your offensive sets because you run an offense that the point can't execute it mitigates the effectiveness Turner even at his best can bring.
