I have to agree. Mauck was a much better passer and made better decisions. Plus he was in my speech class and he was super nice guy. Smart as shite too.

Mauck was way more talented than Jefferson, but he was a turnover machine. He was absolutely terrible in big games

Mauck was more of a playmaker who took a lot of chances than a game manager. We had the best D in CFB history and the best oline in LSU history to make up for it
