How does the Big ten and now Texas get there own networks and not LSU?

Because Texas has the highest Athletic Budget of any program in the country, especially in Football. If we had money like that, the possibilities would be endless in every sport (talking about the non-male major sports).

The deal LSU and the rest of the SEC have with ESPN is just as good. We don't need a 24 hour network about how the gymnastics team finished in the Super 6 or how men's tennis played against aTm

Maybe because there are 50 million people in the Big Ten area?
There are 25 or 30 million people in Texas.
Tex is in the top five in the over all trophy. Louisiana finished 17th, for its best finish ever and first time ever in the top 20, last year. Tex is always in the top few. UNC is always in the top few.
Stanford is either #1 or #2, every year.

So... LSU is not very good at all at many sports, and there are few people (to watch a TV show). I think that should help you.
