these are all RBs, but hard to argue with the true freshman seasons of

words like EVER or NEVER should be banned....

it only shows "small amount of knowledge/data"

there is seldom a true "apples to apples" comparison when these words are used.

if you want to use the words...layout your CRITERIA for judgment first... BEST EVER is such a broad term ..based on ??? (specifics)

great does not equal BEST EVER

..just a thought

Since we're talking strictly LSU, Kevin Faulk was the best Freshman, post-1987. Defensively, I say best Freshman goes to Anthony "Booger" McFarland, who was also a Freshman in 1995.

Mattheiu is a beast, though. He had a great game against Tennessee, and he got even better as the season went on. Give him the 18.
