Choctaw, I know you are more reasonable than this and are just trying to be provocative, here. Surely, you can't believe that the Miles critics, of which I am one, would try to pick apart an undefeated season.

Sadly, the Rant has become so polarized on this issue, it's starting to resemble the old CNN show "Crossfire", where people argued for the sake of arguing and representatives from either side refused to concede such basic tenets as the sky is blue or water is wet.

I know you did not address this to me, but I have to point out that in this very thread the thinking that he points to is evident. If 11-2 is not good enough because "it could have been 8-5", then 14-0 could surely be 9-5, and why would that not be the same? Results or "woulda/coulda/shoulda's", pick one.

To answer the original question, yes it has subsided. Miles is here for quite a few years and there is nothing anyone can do about it, the-not-so-wiazrdly-one is finally gone, and it is january. Things will pick back up. Come september there could be a major qb controversy, we will find out if Crouton was the major play calling problem, and also personel playing time as well. Miles is moving in the right direction though.
