If you think the two aren't tied in you are a fool.

As I like Les and don't care for GC... Sure!

Yea, I meant this for those who said they were on the fence about Les.
I am one of those and this makes me happy. Glad to see Les has the awareness to make these changes.

IF this hire is as good as Chavis hire then damn skippy.

Is it really a 7 year extension? He earned a one-year extension this year, he made up for the two he missed over the last two years that was up to the discretion of the AD.
His previous deal ran through 2014, so it looks like he simply made up ground.

Absolutely.
Now, CLM just needs to hit the hire right out of the park.
Get an OC that fits in with Les' offensive philosphy which appears to be a run 1st, big play passing attack which likes to stretch the field vertically with seem routes and a few screens thrown in for good measure.

Maybe that's why Les Hires Gonzalez...to promote...if JJ still starts next year, can't make too many changes!

I do not care what the OC's name is as long as his philosophy messes with Les' and LSU can run the ball AND pass the ball when LSU calls a play.
If you go look at Okie State when Les was there, OSU ran the ball well and attached down the field with deep balls and medium skinny posts, etc. I like that style if you are physical enough up front to impose your will on the other teams D.

I assume you meant Meshed and Attacked??? Can't get JJ to retain much more, or learn more...
