UConn is putting out statements that it is not true. Their fans hate the guy (he has a lot of Connecticut ties and is known as a jerk and a bad interview). They are supposedly going after a pro assistant that is still coaching in the playoffs. That is why it is taking so long. Paul Pasqualoni is another name thrown around, but not liked by the fans.
Oh yeah, this needs to be moved to the coaching changes board.

Shannon was the problem, not Whipple. Whipple's offenses have been very good everywhere he's been and was good when he first got to Miami. He and Shannon hated each other.
