I caught 120lb marlin that was 100 in long today and would like to get a replica of it made. I took lots of pictures of it, is that enough to make the fish or do I need the actual skin and fin of the fish. Also about how much would something like this cost. Thanks for the help

Replica will be able to be made off pics, weights, and length. The taxi will usually charge by the inch, or at least that's the way I have seen prices for freshwater fish. I would look for somebody that's specializes in fish and try to find one that does lots of big fish. Also remember bass pro and cabelas will be glad to take your mount after about 6 years of you getting tired of trying to figure out where to put a fish that big

main thing on a marlin is length and girth. pictures are great for any specific color characteristics. Was it a blue or white? should be able to do a good one with length and pictures

My taxidermist likes to have as many pictures as possible, length and weight of course, and then several girth measurements, typically immediately behind the fins, another at the largest part of the stomach and one of the tail.

usually need length & girth measurements, but if you got length and lots of pictures, then any good taxidermist can get it close enough were you won't be able to tell.
