Me and a friend of mine have been arguing with people from Texas, about which state has the best talent Louisiana, or Texas.I told him they may have the most talent cause of the size of the state but not the best talent, I know for a fact that if no kids could leave the state they were born in to play college football, LSU could still win championships, so what do you guys think?

Texas has the best talent.

If the best athletes from Texas ALL went to Texas and the best athletes from California ALL went to USC and the best athletes from Louisiana ALL went to LSU and the best athletes from Florida ALL went to UF and the best athletes from Georgia all went to UGA then you would have the best of the best teams in a round robin.

Texas does not have the best talent, for every player you can name by position wise I can name someone better that played in the league from Louisiana.

Saw awhile back, do not remember where, that LA has more players per capita in the NFL than any other state.

texas has about 26 million people and louisiana has about 4 million. hell, houston metro is 50% larger than the whole state of la. per capita, la is better, but overall, the numbers speak for themselves.

LSU would very rarely have an elite quarterback.
Seriously, it isn't even close man. Give it up.

LSU would very rarely have an elite quarterback, that's funny when Drew Brees is the only Texas born quarterback to ever start in a Superbowl, and Louisiana has had several. Remember the Mannings, Jake Delhomme,Stan Humphries, Terry Bradshaw, Doug Williams, and Dan Woodley. Some won it and some lost, but Texas has only had one Quarterback to Start a superbowl.

Do the Mannings really count?

Why do you use examples that are from Louisiana and stayed in state but didn't go to LSU?
Oh and FYI, in your scenario world, the private school in New Orleans probably has a great chance of being the true powerhouse.
But seriously, you are trying to ignore the facts and just use your flawed opinion of who you think is better to win this argument.
Since when does starting in a superbowl accurately measure your skill?

See, the problem with that is LSU would be a team full of WRs, RBs, DL, and DBs.
Louisiana doesn't produce a lot of offensive linemen (this year excepting), linebackers, or quality QBs.
We typically go out of state for these positions.
