Because they're coming here for LSU, not Les.

Bull, if Miles goes some (not all) recruits go. Not to Michigan, but elsewhere.

B/c they are smart and pledge to a school and not a coach.

We still have folks planning to join Michigan, and things look terrible ATM.

Not saying either way with Miles. I joined Rivals premium for the free week, and no one has any real "insider" info I have seen yet on any site.

If I was already looking at LSU, I would see that the SEC is still there, the awesome fan-base behind school, location/La culture, Death Valley, and not to mention that "damn strong FB team" still there.

That is a lot of positives....and sometimes it is just as simple as "Hey I am going to this school regardless".

In short....LSU helps to sell itself.

Do y'all really believe this? Hell, then a coaches recruiting ability and scheme has nothing to do with actually getting recruits? WTF are you asshats smoking?

My point is we are getting NEW commits; Why?
Dont you think they would ask miles if he were staying?

The "new" recruits we are getting aren't really new.

The only real recent commit that has happened since the firing of RR was OBJ and he has been all LSU for a while now

Not to mention guys like Evangel's Rasco, who is considering LSU along with other major colleges, but has not committed. Do you think he will still strongly consider LSU in the midst of a coaching change?

And he would say what he has said so far. He is staying.

Damn you people kill me sometimes.

I'm sorry, but I am not worried about losing a few recruits. If he leaves, the next coach will have a shot at any guy's on the fence, we will probably get half of those. So we lose 3 or 4. Big deal.

Besides, what if the next guy is an even better recruiter than the great grass eater?

What if he's not? You willing to take that gamble when you have a proven in place already? And losing 3 or 4 COULD be a big deal.
