JPLSU's thoughts on the Cotton Bowl...

---great offensive performance, one of Jefferson's best games as a Tiger (3rd and 19 run was the play of the game IMO)
---great running game set up the passing game, I'm very excited about Spencer Ware/Michael Ford ... Love Ridley, and hope he comes back, but if he leaves I think we'll be fine at RB
---I thought we opened it up more vertically than usual, and I liked it.
---defense started slow, finished strong
---TM is a stud, I definitely look forward to his future as a Tiger. He's simply a defensive playmaker.
---Stadium is as advertised: awesome
---Crowd was great, more Tiger fans than I though there would be (65-35 A&M split, maybe even 60-40))
---I still don't understand why the fumble recovery/return was called back
---Les Miles is awesome in bowl games. whatever he does to get them ready for bowl games, keep doing it and don't change a thing
---There have certainly been times in the last six years that I would have been OK with Miles leaving on his own terms, but I do not feel that way now. I DO NOT want to lose Les Miles right now ... our program is in great shape to win national titles in the very near future under the leadership of Les Miles. I don't want a change in the status quo, because the status quo is working IMO. I'm very fearful of the unknown at this point.
And last but not least: The LSU Tigers will be playing in the 2012 BCS Championship Game. I am certain of it. (it might be Miles or Pelini or Tuberville or Sarkisian leading us out of the tunnel, but we'll be there regardless).

Good post. Was in sec 227. I think, however, the Aggie fans had us outnumbered 3:1. When they got up 10-0 it was unbelievably loud in their favor. Glad we got it turned around -- we took their crowd out of the game. By early 3rd quarter, they knew they were looking at a L. Loved seeing them leave early. Geaux Tigers
