Does outcome of Cotton Bowl have any factor on Michigan hire?

Have not seen this asked so just wondering what ya'll think. I know Michigan has an eye on Miles, how much no one really knows. Surely they are being respectful of Miles preparing for the game and not talking to him until after. Question is does anyone think depending how the game goes, blowout win or ugly loss, have any bearing on whether or not they seriously consider him the one number hire and open the checkbook for him saying anything he wants they will give as long as he takes the job. Just curious.

Overall, no.

But just about every game this year has come down to the wire for LSU.

And if Miles were seen making another dazed and confused call, I think it would be more difficult to pull the trigger because everyone in Michigan will be watching the game.

On the other hand, if LSU comes out and rolls in typical Miles bowl fashion, then I think it makes him all the more attractive.

Did getting rolled by Oklahoma hurt Randy Edsall the other day?

The Cotton Bowl will not be used to define Miles' career.

The cotton bowl outcome as well as Miles' new hair color...both are a factor.

The word around Michigan was they were prepared to offer JH at least $4 mil a year. Don't think that is being cheap.

Oklahoma State's 33-7 trouncing by Ohio State in the 2004 Alamo Bowl didn't seem to hurt Les Miles' chance at the LSU gig.
