anyone else think that if black coaches were so offended by the rule they'd have voiced that displeasure and gotten the rule removed?

It's a tough thing because you would hope NFL owners would be open-minded enough by now to interview/hire minority coaches on their own without the rule. And I'm sure for SOME coaches it can be embarrassing to be the "token" interview and knowing you're the token interview. I think the rule has good intentions, but I'm not sure it's necessary anymore, though I could certainly be wrong.
