ULM could go 8-4 with that schedule.

And then lose to Wisconsin 164-0
Give TCU a freaking break.

Even with Texas's shitty season, they still managed to defeat the same number of BCS teams in the regular season as TCU (2.). Hell, even Texas's two wins were better (Nebraska and Texas Tech) than TCU's.
I really wish we had it made like TCU. We should join the Sun Belt and then play Clemson and some other shitty ACC/Big East school and we would get invited to the BCS every year. Seems to be the hot new thing now.

FSU won a NC this way: Chickening out of the SEC and beating up on an ACC that had nobody who could compete with them.

Yup I guess you are right, If a BCS school had to face one of TCU's weak arse opponents they would have definitely beaten them.
BCS schools who lost to TCU’s opponents this season (some more than once)
Washington
Louisville
Arizona State
Arizona
Califronia
USC
Kansas
Kansas State
Colorado
Texas
Washington State
Georgia Tech
Pittsburg
Minnesota
tOSU
Iowa
Purdue
Indiana
Michigan
Northwestern

They also played Florida and Miami every year.

Les Miles would be eating turf in glendale

164 is pushing the limit, but they would hang 70 on them for sure. TCU's schedule was not impressive the first 12 games, but they played their asses off on the 13th game.
TCU was well prepared in the Rose Bowl and certainly made me a believer in them. They deserved to be in Pasadena on 1-1-11 and proved it.

What teams did those schools who lost have to play week in week out?
I give props to TCU, but when you only have to get up a few time through out the year, it's not the same. And the few time you do have to get up those teams are still middle of the road teams in AQ conferences.

The bolded teams had .500 or worse regular season records though
TCU is joining a BCS conference, so it no longer will be a big deal

fricking Crybabies
Considering you are fans of the strongest conference in football why are you so damn hung up on this? They are playing with the system they were given. fricking get over it.
They are from a conference that did not put together the BCS, maybe you should take it up with the other "BIG 5" that wrote the contracts.

They didn't prove they deserved to be there until after the game was over. Even then, given what the Big Ten did in other bowls, beating the best/2nd/3rd team in that conference isn't saying much. Hell look at what Alabama did to Michigan State - the same Michigan State team that beat Wisconsin soundly.

There may be more than two teams better than TCU right now, but South Carolina is just not one of them. My condolences.

5 SECw schools would go undefeated against that schedule
Posted on 1/2/11 at 5:27 pm to GamecockAlum
TCU won the BCS game they were chosen to play in. Therefore, they proved they belong to be there. The system is not perfect but this is not TCU's fault.
If there was a playoff system in place, TCU would have been invited to the dance this season. They are a top 5 team right now, in my opinion and I would not have said that prior to 5 PM yesterday.

Orgeon built its resume on 6 of those less than 500 teams that TCU's opponenets beat plus an additional 2 teams TCU also beat.
The other 4 teams were 11-1 Stanford then 6-7 Tenn, 4-8 UCLA, and 2-9 Portland State.
Hell if you believe Stanford should have been in the Rose, the only BCS teams that they beat that one of TCU's opponents did not beat this season were 3-9 Wake Forest, and 4-8 UCLA. Of course the did lose to Orgeon by 19.
