It's a fieldhouse and it seats a little over 5000. No kidding.

Yes, but Texas (my alma mater, ahem) has all that *and* national championships in football and baseball.

I may be blasted for this, but Rice treats College sports the way all universities should treat college sports. Secondary.

It's definitely different, but it does get frustrating when their baseball team (which has been a Top 5-10 program over the past 15 years) routinely plays in front of hostile crowds at home against in-state schools.

I'll take the 95 cent on-campus beer though.

LSU has had Pulitzer Prize Winners too--Robert Penn Warren for "All the King's Men."

LSU also has football and baseball national championships.

Naw... But I stand corrected. They did have banners for some shite. I was underneath them. And the students around me were pumped like they had just beat duke lol
