Nope, lower your expectations. You should have seen it in the theater. At least then you would have been entertained by the pseudo-intellectuals. Even with that, I almost fell asleep in the theater.
Prepare to have 2 hrs of your life taken from you with no benefit to show for it.

I definitely went in expecting too much. I also thought I was supposed to be confused throughout the movie but I didn't find it hard to follow at all.
All in all I still liked it and will watch it again.

Inception is easily one of the top films in the last 10 years. IMBD ranks it #6 ALL TIME.
Phenomenal film, but certainly not for those who would rather leave their brains at the door on the way into the theater.
Also, if you aren't watching it on a 50" screen or bigger - with surround sound, you're missing a lot of the awesomeness of the movie.
Shame on those of you who didn't go see it in the theater.

Also, there is NO way that you can fully appreciate the movie and catch all of the cool details that Nolan throws in by watching it just once. Watch it twice more - and then get back to us.

why post in the middle of a movie? Your attention span probably needs some work.

Wierd, I was one who was blown away by the first half of the movie, and awfully let down by the second half. At the end of the movie, I don't remember caring what happened to any of the characters. Felt the character development was lacking.
