So, as long as we can keep getting QBs that get the proper coaching before they get to Crowton, we'll be fine?

JJ's issues are way beyond coaching. He is a very poor passing QB. Period.

Lee sucked in his freshman campaign and has never been given any real chance since, so he has not had the first team reps/etc to develop.

Either way, Crowton has not had a chance to succeed. Am I happy with what he has done, not really, but he has had horrid QB play since Flynn left campus. Period.

Wow ItDoesn'tTake. How do you figure Scrowton hasn't had a chance to succeed. As has been pointed out more than once, he *is* the QB coach. Don't you think he has some voice in who gets recruited? Don't you think he has some voice in who plays (do you really think JJ would be on the field with out Scrowton's blessings)? Don't you think he can coach-up either of these guys?

People tend to forget the fact that our QB play in 2007 wasn't exactly off the charts either due to the fact that we won the BCSNC. Look at Flynn's numbers:

2400 yards, 56.3%, 21 TD, 11 INT

And this guy just played a good game in his first NFL start against maybe the best team in the league. And this is the production that GC got out of him.
