Saw it last night and thought it was really good.

Hell, it was good enough that a bunch of guys are discussing a movie about ballet on a message board.

i think everyone can empathize with truly wanting something to that extent.

what was real to Nina? any of it? all of it? I'd like to watch it a second time to see if there are any context clues as to what is real and what is Nina's imagination. Portman's face is so expressive, so fragile in this movie. And her transformation into the black swan is amazing, couple with some clever visual effects. Her physicality completely changed in those moments.

even being a novice ballet watcher, you could tell a difference in the aggressiveness with which she was dancing. and the complete shift in persona.

is some of this movie cliched? yes. But this has to be a front runner for movie of the year.

I can't wait to watch true grit tomorrow.
